Cindy Frank, PLS, began her career in the legal field at Lawton & Cates, S.C., during her senior year of High School. She was hired to work part time as a clerical assistant running errands and making photocopies. Following her graduation from High School, Cindy enrolled in the Executive Secretarial program at MATC with an emphasis in legal studies.  After she graduated in 1981, she was hired by Lawton & Cates as a full-time legal secretary. 

In 2001, Cindy began studying to become certified as a Professional Legal Secretary, earning that distinction in March of 2002.  She currently works at her present law firm in the areas of worker’s compensation and personal injury.  In 2006 the firm held a party in honor of Cindy’s 25 years of service and contribution to their success.

Cindy has been an active member of the Legal Personnel of South Central Wisconsin since 1998, and has been on the Executive Committee, along with being Treasurer for three years.

She has been married for 22 years to her High School sweetheart and has two wonderful children, one of whom attends UW Madison and the other who is a junior in High School.  Over the years Cindy has been enthusiastic supporter of their athletic endeavors by helping in the concession stands and attending countless sporting events.

In Cindy’s free time, she enjoys reading, camping, shopping, and spending time with her family.
