LPSCW -

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Legal Personnel of South Central website.  We are a local chapter of the Wisconsin Association for Legal Professionals and NALS, Inc. ... the association for legal professionals.  Our association is made up of legal professionals in various positions, including but not limited to, legal assistants, secretaries, paralegals, office administrators, court clerks, and receptionists.  Our goal is continuing legal education and building a network of friends and co-workers to call on when we need help or just need to talk.

Our chapter meets the second Wednesday of each month at a location in Madison.  You can find out where the next upcoming meeting is being held, and what the next upcoming educational topic is on our website by viewing the "Calendar of Events," Education," or "Mandatum" tab.  We gather at 5:30 p.m. to socialize. Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. and either the business meeting or speaker will start around 6:45 p.m. We are normally finished by 8:00 p.m. The months of December, and April are business meetings. September, October, November, January, February, March and June are educational sessions with various speakers. April is our annual business meeting (for members only), and in May we conduct our installation of officers and recognize members for achievements throughout the year. Our association does not meet in July and August.

If you would like more information, or would like to join us for a meeting, please call or email any of the officers listed on our web site. We would love to hear from you.
